Dasrath is six-year-old boy who lives in Nepal with his mother and siblings. To support the family, Dasrath’s father works in India and sends his earning back home each month while his mother raises cattle and takes care of the children.
As Dasrath was playing with his friends one day, he accidentally fell and he landed on the ground with his right hand and fractured it. Dasrath’s mother took an eight hours jeep ride to bring the crying boy to a hospital run by our medical partner, Possible. Under the care of the doctors in the hospital, Dasrath received a cast and medication to help with the recovery of his fracture. To cover the cost of the treatment, our Medical partner is requesting $195.
Dasrath’s mother is very worried about her son’s injured arm and hopes that his arm will fully recover soon.
