Meet Eng, a 75-year-old man from Cambodia who has partial blindness in both eyes due to mature cataracts. Before he lost his vision, Eng worked at a pagoda where he helped care and cook for the monks. Now he is unable to work or read and is cared for by his son.

For $150, Eng can receive the cataract surgery he needs in order to improve his eyesight, prevent blindness, and reduce his pain. Our medical partner says, “Eng is most looking forward to returning to work at the pagoda and being able to read again.” Let’s help Eng regain his vision and his independence!
