Meet Dan, a three-and-a-half month old boy from Uganda. Dan has developed a scrotal hernia, and he is in pain as a result.
Dan is the youngest in the family of Daniel and Jessica. His siblings go to a local school, and when they get back from school they like carrying and playing with him. Both his parents are subsistence farmers growing bananas, sorghum and sweet potatoes. Dan’s father just opened a food grocery store hoping to start selling the surplus food from his farm. Unfortunately, they are unable to meet the cost of a hernia repair surgery for Dan, which is $208. The surgery will be performed at Bwindi Community Hospital in Uganda.
Dan’s mother is looking forward to her child having no pain and able to grow. She hopes to take him to school when he grows up.
“I thank all who are supporting raise funds to provide care to my child,” Dan’s mother shared.
