Three years ago, Pamela first felt a growth on the base of her neck. It has since caused her dizziness and fatigue. She sought care from a local hospital, where a thyroidectomy was recommended, but Pamela does not have the funds for this procedure.
Pamela, who has five daughters and one son, is a housewife after losing her job as a secretary. Pamela’s husband is bus driver in their small town. She says, “Every little money we get goes towards paying our children’s school fees. We have even been calling our family members and friends to help us raise for the children school fees.”
Pamela has been diagnosed with Grave’s disease and she needs surgery. Fortunately, she visited our medical partner’s care center and has been scheduled for a thyroidectomy on August 31. She needs help raising $641 to pay for this critical procedure.
