Meet Sokheng, a young construction worker from Cambodia. He has two sisters and four brothers. In his spare time, he likes to watch YouTube and listen to music.
In October 2015, Sokheng had an incident at work, resulting in a closed tibia fracture on his right leg. It is difficult for Sokheng to walk, and he is in pain. He was treated at a hospital ,but his symptoms did not improve.
Sokheng traveled with his mother for three hours to reach our medical partner, Children’s Surgical Centre (CSC). On February 20, surgeons at CSC will perform an open reduction internal fixation surgery to repair Sokheng’s tibia fracture. This procedure will realign the bone to its normal position, allowing Sokheng to walk easily again without pain.
$411 will cover the costs associated with Sokheng’s surgery. Let’s help Sokheng regain his mobility!
