Savy is a 53-year-old woman from Cambodia. She has one daughter, three sons, and five grandchildren. In her free time, Savy likes to listen to the monks pray at the pagoda and to listen to music on the radio.

Savy underwent cataract treatment.
Savy’s eye cataract was successfully removed from her right eye and clear vision has been restored. Following the operation, she was given eye drops to reduce inflammation and prevent infection. She will return for the same procedure in her left eye.
Savy says, “I feel very happy that I can see everything clearly again. I can easily do any work, play with my grandchildren, walk anywhere outside by myself, and I don’t have to disturb someone to hold my hand anymore.”
