Christian is a 10-year-old student from Philippines. He lives with his parents and four siblings. His mother, Rosie, works as a vendor. Christian loves running with his friends from school and his neighborhood.
Christian was recently diagnosed with malnutrition, a condition that results from consuming too little calories and nutrients. Beginning on July 6, Christian will receive at-home treatment from our medical partner, International Care Ministries (ICM).
ICM’s home-based feeding program will provide Christian with nutrient enriched food packs to ensure he gets the additional food to regain normal weight, and achieve optimum physical and mental development. The program will also teach his family about proper nutrition, sanitation, hygiene, and organic vegetable gardening. ICM is asking for $173 to cover the cost of Christian’s care.
“I hope Christian will recover from malnutrition and grows healthy and strong,” says Christian’s mother.
