Diervise is a 38-year-old former student who lives in Haiti. Diervise loves to watch television, listen to radio, go to church, and play dominoes.
While Diervise was studying at university, she felt a mass in her breast and was diagnosed with breast cancer. Diervise had to quit school because she could not afford both school and medical care. Now that she cannot sustain the ongoing cost of medical care, Diervise is looking for work, but she has struggled to find an employer who will hire someone as ill as she is.
Diervise’s family wants to help her, but they do not have the resources to pay for her treatment. For $1500, we can fund her cancer treatment, which includes chemotherapy, removal of the mass and radiotherapy. After treatment, Diervise hopes to return to school, get married, and have a family of her own. Let’s pitch in to help Diervise beat cancer!
