Miracle is a curious and jovial eight-year-old boy living in Uganda with his family. While his mother works as a farmer and his father as a community social worker, Miracle is a student who attends primary school with his two sisters. In his free time, Miracle enjoys playing with old car tires, making toy cars, and experimenting with old battery cells and wires.
Unfortunately, Miracle has had an umbilical hernia for almost his entire life. This means that part of his intestine has protruded through the abdominal muscles near his stomach. His symptoms include severe abdominal pain and headaches.
To remove the hernia, Miracle is scheduled to undergo surgery on February 6. His parents have been able to contribute $8, but our medical partner, The Kellermann Foundation, is requesting an additional $229 to cover the expenses of the procedure.
Miracle’s parents are looking forward to the day when their son is completely healed. Grateful for the aid they are receiving, they say, “We want to thank the donors for the support they are giving to the needy in terms of treatment. We pray to God to bless you abundantly.”
