Moo is a two-year-old boy from Burma. He lives with his family in Pa-pun township, Karen State. He likes to play and enjoys singing at school.
Since 2016, Moo has had an inguinal hernia. He has been crying regularly and cannot eat, drink, or sleep comfortably. Fortunately, on February 1, he will undergo hernia repair surgery at Mae Sot General Hospital, our medical partner’s care center.
Our medical partner, Burma Children Medical Fund, is requesting $1,500 to fund Moo’s hernia repair surgery. The procedure is scheduled to take place on February 1 and, once completed, will hopefully allow him to live more comfortably.
Moo’s mother says, “After my son is better, I will send him to school. I want him to become a medic when he grows up.”
