Say hello to Chantha, a 12-year-old girl from Cambodia. According to our medical partner, Children’s Surgical Centre (CSC), “Chantha has three brothers and three sisters, and is in the seventh grade. She likes to read all kinds of books in her free time.”
Unfortunately, Chantha deals with chronic ear infections and as a result, she has holes in the membrane of her eardrum. “Chantha started having discharge from her ears two years ago with hearing loss in her left ear. The discharge is chronic and the discomfort that she experiences causes her to miss school,” explains CSC.
For $400, Chantha will receive surgery to repair the holes in her eardrum, which will stop the discharge and discomfort, and hopefully return her hearing as well. Let’s help Chantha live a pain-free and healthy childhood!
