Kananura is a farmer from Uganda. He is married with 5 children three are self-employed; one is married and the last on still in primary six. Both Kananura and his wife are small scale farmers.
One year ago, Kananura has had an inguinalm hernia. This causes him pain and discomfort and if not treated may result in intestinal tissue damage. Fortunately, on September 17th, he will undergo hernia repair surgery at our medical partner’s care center.
Our medical partner, African Mission Healthcare Foundation, is requesting $219 to fund Kananura’s surgery. Once completed, this procedure will hopefully allow him to live more comfortably and confidently.
Kananura says “Am more optimistic to having a new life after surgery and continue with cultivation.”
