Meet Un, a 73-year-old mother of eight and grandmother of 40! She lives in Cambodia with her children and grandchildren, where she continues to help around the house by cooking and cleaning.
The only things slowing Un down lately are the hypermature cataracts in her eyes. The cataracts blur Un’s vision and her doctors at Children’s Surgical Centre (CSC) say; “This makes it hard for her to care for her home and large family.” Without the surgery to remove the cataracts, CSC reports that Un will eventually become blind.
“She misses being able to go to the pagoda for ceremonies and visiting her relatives in other provinces on her own,” CSC also lets us know.
For $150, we can help restore Un’s eyesight so she can help support her family and see each of her 40 grandchildren clearly again!
