Binisha is a four-year-old toddler living with her parents in Nepal. She studies at a local child education center. Her parents tend to the farm to keep the family going and the yield from the field supports them for about three months of the year.
Binisha fell from the porch of her house, resulting in a cut on her left cheek. She has been crying in pain and her cheek is swollen. After trying some herbal medicines at home, her parents finally decided to take medical help and walked on foot for two hours to reach Possible’s hub - Bayalpata hospital.
For $157, Binisha will undergo an incision and drainage procedure and will need to regularly dress in a hygienic manner to reduce the chance of infection.
“I would be thankful to the hospital if she gets well soon,” shares Binisha’s sister.
