Damaris is a sweet one-year-old girl from Guatemala. Her mother died in a car accident shortly after she was born. Since then, her father’s parents have taken her in, along with their other children and grandchildren.
Money is tight for Damaris and her new family. They cannot afford treatment for the new battle Damaris is fighting - malnutrition.
Damaris is losing weight, lagging in her height curve, and living with chronic diarrhea. If she doesn’t receive care soon, she’ll likely stop growing altogether and be at risk for an early death.
For $525, Damaris will be given intensive nutritional therapy that will help her resume growth, increase her appetite, and raise her energy levels. Let’s help Damaris’ new family give her the nutrition and strength she deserves!
