Mark is a five-month-old baby boy from Uganda. He is the fourth child to his parents, Sofia and Enock. Mark’s mother works as a subsistence farmer growing tomatoes, beans, potatoes, and cassava for food. She sells excess crops for income. Enock is unable to work due to blindness.
Mark was recently diagnosed with pediatric pneumonia, and is having difficulty breathing. Beginning on April 22, Mark will receive treatment at our medical partner’s care center, Bwindi Community Hospital. Our medical partner, The Kellermann Foundation, is asking for $106 to cover the cost of his treatment. Mark’s family has contributed $5 to his overall care.
Sofia and Enock are very grateful for all of the Watsi donors’ help!
