Lorn underwent vision-restoring cataract surgery.
Prior to surgery, 70-year-old Lorn’s vision was blurred, she was extremely sensitive to light, and she eventually could not even go outside. Fortunately, with the help of both Watsi and Children’s Surgical Centre, Lorn’s cloudy lenses were removed and replaced with clear implants.
Lorn has now regained much of her independence, and she and her family are very grateful for her improved condition.
