Say hello to 12-year-old Lokesari from Nepal!
Lokesari loves school and her favorite subjects are mathematics and volleyball. Her family’s main source of income is farming. However, they only yield enough for six months, so Lokesari’s father travels to India to work for the remainder of the year.
Last year, Lokesari traveled with her father to India. During this trip, she fell down while playing and fractured her femur. Lokesari has injured this leg before and if it is not operated on, she faces the risk of not being able to walk straight.
For $1,040, Lokesari will receive a surgery that will allow her bone to heal properly. Let’s help Lokesari so she can go back to school and return to her favorite sport, volleyball!
