Meet Kheng, a 69-year-old grandfather of 14 from Cambodia. Kheng enjoys feeding and caring for his cattle, and hearing monks pray at the pagoda. Unfortunately, a hypermature cataract in his left eye makes it difficult for Kheng to live his normal, day-to-day routine.
“He has a hard time looking after his grandchildren and being able to help around his home,” says our medical partner, Children’s Surgical Centre (CSC).
Kheng experiences blurred vision and partial blindness due to his cataract. For $150, CSC can operate and restore his eyesight. Kheng will be able to fully care for his grandchildren, and resume his daily activities on his own. Let’s help make it happen!
