Meseyeki is a friendly seven-year-old boy from Tanzania. He wants to become a teacher when he grows up, but right now he says, “I just wish I could step on my right foot and walk without feeling any pain.”
Meseyeki was born with an equinus deformity. As a result of his condition, he walks on his toes and is unable to run. Meseyeki also suffers from chronic pain in his ankle.
For $500, we can cover the cost of a tendon lengthening surgery that will enable Meseyeki to walk, run, and be mobile like a normal seven-year-old. Meseyeki’s mother is a house wife and his father is a watchman. The family depends on the small income that Meseyeki’s father earns, and cannot afford the medical care Meseyeki needs on their own. Let’s help Meseyeki get the mobility he deserves.
