Nabaasa is a staff member at a primary school in Uganda. She is a single mother of one. She practices subsistence farming to supplement her earnings.
Since birth, Nabaasa had has a skin nevus on her right leg. The mass has been growing, causing her pain and limiting her ability to walk for long distances.
Nabaasa traveled to our medical partner’s care center to receive treatment. On February 20, surgeons will remove the mass. Now, Nabaasa needs help to raise $187 to fund this procedure.
Nabaasa says, “I hope to continue with cultivation and working when stable.”

Nabaasa underwent a mass removal procedure.
Surgery was successful. This will enable her live without pain and walk comfortably.
