Meet Phom, a 44-year-old man living in Cambodia with his five children. Phom works as a farmer, but has had trouble doing work since his injury.
In October 2012, Phom was in a motorbike accident and broke his leg. He went to a local hospital, but because he couldn’t afford the full cost of treatment, Phom left the hospital early, and his fracture never healed properly. Now, his leg causes him constant pain and he can’t walk without crutches.
For $300, we can help Phom receive surgery to realign the bones in his fractured leg. His mobility will be restored and his pain will decrease. Let’s help Phom walk again so he can get back to supporting his family!
