Meet one-year-old Faith from Kenya! Faith was born with a twin sister named Elizabeth. Faith and Elizabeth are identical twins, but unlike Elizabeth, Faith was born with a two-sided cleft lip and palate.
Faith’s cleft lip prevents her from being able to feed from bottles normally. When Faith was first born, her mother says, “I could not figure out where her lips or her mouth were.” Faith’s mother has been able to keep her fed so far, but the cleft lip will cause problems in the future with eating and speech
Faith’s cleft lip repair is a necessary treatment, but it is also one that Faith’s family cannot afford right now. For $500, we can help Faith get the surgery she needs so she can grow up a healthy and happy young woman.

Faith received surgery to repair her cleft lip.
Faith’s lip is still healing and the recovery is going well.
Faith’s doctor tells us, “Faith is doing so well, recovering perfectly. She is playing with her sister and her feeding is back to normal.”
“You guys should continue the work you are doing, it is helping so many parents and their children. Everyone who has seen my baby so far says she looks very good,” says Sarah, Faith’s mother.
