Pamela is busy preparing for her first child, due in July. This pregnancy has been challenging for Pamela, but she is optimistic that with the right support, she will give birth safely.
Our support will fund educational visits from community health workers, a supported birth in Lwala hospital, and a postnatal check up for Pamela and her baby.

Pamela received maternal care to ensure a healthy pregnancy and safe delivery.
Pamela delivered a beautiful, healthy baby. She was very thankful for being granted access to medical care, telling our medical partner in a follow-up visit, “I felt great when I delivered at a health facility since many women in my village suffer during delivery which normally occurs at home.
