Mercy is a 38-year-old mother from Uganda. She completed her senior four education and pursued training as a secretary at an institution. Regrettably, she was unable to continue her studies due to financial constraints. She is married to a builder who works in a local setting, and Mercy is a small-scale farmer. During her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family.
Mercy and her husband have two children and are currently expecting their third. Her doctors recommend that she deliver via a caesarean section (C-section) because of scars from her previous two C-sections. This way, doctors can ensure the safety of both mother and child.
Our medical partner African Mission Healthcare (AMH) is helping Mercy undergo a C-Section on August 8th. This procedure will cost $252, and Mercy needs your support to help with the funding.
Mercy says, “I will be glad when am treated under your care. I will be able to deliver my baby well thus resuming to farming for a living.”
