Meet Marvin, a seven-year-old boy from Uganda, where he lives with his mother and uncle, both of whom are farmers. He is currently in year two of primary school and enjoys mathematics. When he grows up, Marvin thinks he wants to be an engineer or teacher. When he is not in school or helping with household chores, Marvin loves playing soccer and running around the village with his friends.
Recently, Marvin broke his wrist after losing his grip and falling while climbing a tree. On March 5, Marvin will be receiving treatment to repair the closed fracture on his wrist. Our medical partner, The Kellermann Foundation, is requesting $133 to fund hospital fees, supplies, labs, and medications for Marvin.
His mother is very appreciative of all the help. She says, “I will give thanks when I am in church for the great help the donors have given my son.”
