Ath is 70 years old. She is married and has one son, two daughters, and ten grandchildren. In her free time, she likes to look after her grandchildren and go to the pagoda to listen to monks pray.
Two years ago, Ath developed a cataract in each eye, causing her blurred vision and headaches. Ath has trouble seeing things clearly, recognizing faces, and working on her own.

Now, she needs help to fund this $292 procedure.

Ath underwent cataract surgery.
Her eye cataract was successfully removed from her left eye, and clear vision has been restored. Following the operation, she was given eye drops to reduce inflammation and prevent infection. She will return soon for the same surgery on her right eye.
Ath says, “I feel happy that I can see clearly again. I can clean around my home, take care of my grandchildren, and go anywhere by myself very well.”
