Stella is a 28 year old mother from Uganda. Following some secondary school education, she became a small-scale farmer, while her husband is a taxi driver. Together, they own a 3-bedroom brick house and have one child. Her firstborn child is 6 years old and in primary class one; sadly, her second child died at just one year old due to unknown causes. During her free time, Stella enjoys spending time with her family.
Stella is currently expecting her third child. She has had full antenatal care at Rushoroza Hospital. Her doctors recommend that she deliver via a Caesarean section because of her high-risk pregnancy. This way, doctors can ensure the safety of both mother and child.
Our medical partner, African Mission Healthcare, is helping Stella undergo a C-Section on October 31. This procedure will cost $214, and Stella needs your support.
Stella says, “I am praying for a successful surgery. And I will be able to keep farming again soon.”
