Rosa is an active young mother from Guatemala, who stays very busy caring for her quickly growing nine-month-old.
For the past few months, Rosa has been having a hard time keeping up with her toddler because of intermittent severe abdominal pain. Rosa’s ultrasound revealed she has gallstones. Left untreated, her gallstones will continue to cause bouts of pains and put Rosa at risk of developing a serious infection.
To stop these painful attacks and avoid infection, Rosa will undergo gallbladder surgery to remove the gallstones. Her treatment costs $300. Rosa’s surgery will relieve her pain and most importantly, give her the ability to better care for her child.
