Kelian is a ten-year-old boy from Kenya. He is the oldest child in his family and has one other sibling. His mother supports their family by selling household wares at her shop.
Kelian was born with clubfoot, a condition in which his feet develop inward instead of outward. He has undergone a lot of treatment for his condition, but nothing has proven effective. On June 26, Kelian will undergo surgery to correct his feet at AIC Cure International Hospital, our medical partner’s care center. Our medical partner, African Mission Healthcare Foundation, is asking for $1,224 to cover the cost of his treatment.
Kelian has dreams to be a pilot and is hoping this surgery will be the first step in the right direction to achieving his goals. Kelian’s mother is very grateful for all the donors’ help!
