Four months ago, Ny developed a cataract in each eye, causing him blurred vision, burning, and sensitivity to light. He has difficultly seeing thinks clearly and working.
When Ny learned about our medical partner, Children’s Surgical Centre, he traveled for three hours to seek treatment. On February 20, doctors will perform a phacoemulsification cataract surgery and an intraocular lens implant in each eye. After recovery, Ny will be able to see clearly again. Now, he needs help to fund this $292 procedure.

Ny underwent successful cataract surgery.
Ny’s eye cataract was successfully removed from his left eye, and clear vision has been restored. Following the operation, he was given eye drops to reduce inflammation.
Ny says, “I feel very happy that my eye can see everything clearly. I can read books easily again. I want to make knife holders to sell and earn money to support my family. I can also go anywhere by myself very well.”
