Tuhaise is a subsistence farmer from Uganda. She is a mother of one living child. She is married to Richard, a 31-year-old man. She has both parents, while her husband has only the mother. She is the third born in a family of six children, and one is still in school. She reached primary grade six while her husband studied until primary grade seven. She does small-scale farming while her husband is a builder. During her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family.
She is currently expecting a new baby. Her doctors recommend that she deliver via a caesarean section because of her high-risk pregnancy and a poor obstetric history. This way, doctors can ensure the safety of both mother and child.
Our medical partner, African Mission Healthcare, is helping Tuhaise undergo a C-Section on November 27th. This procedure will cost $234, and Tuhaise and her family need your support.
Tuhaise said, “After surgery, I will be able to resume my duties of farming.’’
