San is an 83-year-old married man with four sons, one daughter, and 20 grandchildren. He enjoys listening to the monks pray on the radio.
San has entropion of his left eye - a condition in which his eyelid turns inward, making his eyelashes scrape the surface of his eye. This causes San blurred vision, irritation, and tearing. He can’t see everything clearly, do work well, or go anywhere outside on his own.
San traveled three hours with his son to reach Children’s Surgical Centre for treatment. After a lid correction surgery, he will be able to easily open and close his eye and he won’t experience tearing.
“I hope my eyelid can easily open for me to see everything so I can go to anywhere outside,” shares San.
