Poe is a 28-year-old loving mother from Burma. She lives with her husband, her daughter and her son in Karen State, Burma. Poe is the primary caregiver of the children and runs the household, and her husband is a farmer. Their family also raise chickens and pigs to feed their family. During her free time, she enjoys going out to forage vegetables in the forest and going fishing in the stream. Poe and her family are unable to pay for healthcare. Poe is eight months pregnant with her third child. Her doctors recommend that she deliver her baby via a caesarean section because of her labor pain and severe bleeding. This way, doctors can ensure the safety of both Poe and her child. Our medical partner, Burma Children Medical Fund, is helping Poe undergo a C-Section on February 9th. This procedure will cost $1500, and Poe needs your support. Her brother says, "Thank you to the donors and everyone who helps my sister during our difficult time."

Chha Krith is a 23-year-old grocery seller from Cambodia. Together with his wife, Chha Krith runs a small grocery shop outside of their home, selling packaged foods and mobile phone cards. In 2017, Chha Krith was in a horrifying road traffic accident, which resulted in the amputation of his arm and a fracture of his right leg. He underwent surgery to heal his fracture, through the use of metal implants. Now the fracture has healed, but the hardware is causing difficulty for Chha Krith, specifically with walking and sitting. He is also in chronic pain. Fortunately, surgeons at our medical partner, Children's Surgical Centre, can help. On June 5th, Chha Krith will undergo a hardware removal procedure at Kien Khleang National Rehabilitation Centre. He is able to contribute $100 but needs help to raise $204 more to fund the procedure. After surgery, Chha Krith hopes he can walk comfortably again and find a better job to support his family.

Yigermal is a nine-year-old boy from Ethiopia. He is the only child of his father. His parents are separated and his mother lives elsewhere. Yigermal lives with his father and grandmother in Merto Lemariam, Ethiopia. Yigermal's father had to sell his land to cover medical expenses when he became ill. Due to health complications, he is not currently working. The father underwent kidney surgery two years ago. Yigermal was born with a congenital anomaly called bladder exstrophy, where the bladder is abnormally open from the front abdomen. His bladder is exposed to air, causing him to leak urine directly onto his abdomen. As a result, he suffers from pain, discomfort, infections, and other troubling symptoms. He cannot even go to school as other children would tease him. Yigermal couldn't get surgery for a long time because his father did not have the money to take him to referral hospitals in the city. Yigermal needs a Mainz Pouch procedure, which involves diverting his urine to the anal opening and creating a pouch bladder from the bowel. He is scheduled for this bladder surgery on June 25th. Our medical partner African Mission Healthcare is requesting $1,500 to cover his medical costs. Yigermal's family needs your help. Yigermal's dad said, “I hope that he will get the surgery and heal. I will teach him if he heals. I will do labor work and raise him.”
