22-year-old Soeun lives in Cambodia with his wife where he works in a garment factory. Our medical partner Children’s Surgical Centre tells us, “A month ago Soeun was in a motor accident that left him with a broken and deformed wrist. It causes him much pain and he can’t really use his left hand for anything, which means he cannot go to work.”
“Souen had been working long hours at the garment factory in hopes of saving enough money to have a child with his wife,” Children’s Surgical Center explains. Soeun cannot afford the surgery he needs to heal his wrist nor is he able to save for his family until he improves.
That’s where we come in! $405 will fund surgery for Soeun’s wrist, which will allow him to regain functionality in his left hand and help him get back to work.
