Veronica is a responsible and hardworking 16-year-old from Kenya who is expecting her first child. Despite her morning sickness, Veronica runs her own small business and she grows maize, beans, vegetables and sugarcane to feed herself and her husband. She dreams of delivering her baby safely in a proper health facility under the attention of a skilled professional.
Veronica and her husband want to welcome their first child safely. They are saving money from her business and his work to provide for their child in the long-term, but they need help paying for critical maternal healthcare to enable a safe delivery.
“I always end my day with a positive thought even though I know that I cannot meet the expenses needed for my treatment, I do hope and pray that things will get better,” says Veronica.
Let’s make sure Veronica receives the medical attention she needs for a safe pregnancy and delivery!
