Piseth is a three-year-old boy from Cambodia. He likes to play with toy cars and play with kids around his home. Piseth was born with an extra thumb on both hands. Because of the extra thumbs, it is difficult for him to hold objects and he experiences discomfort.
On July 17, Piseth will travel three hours to our medical partner, where he will undergo polydactyly repair. The treatment will involve removing the extra thumb from each hand. For the surgery, our medical partner, Children’s Surgical Centre, requests $237.
