Tushemerirwe is a woman from Uganda. She is married and a mother of four. She and her husband are farmers.
For three years, Tushemerirwe has had an epigastric hernia. The hernia causes her pain, especially after meals. If not treated, it may result in intestinal tissue damage and death. Fortunately, on January 16, she will undergo hernia repair surgery at our medical partner’s care center.
Our medical partner, African Mission Healthcare Foundation, is requesting $219 to fund Tushemerirwe’s surgery. Once completed, this procedure will hopefully allow her to live more comfortably.
Tushemerirwe says, “I will continue with farming after surgery for the care of my children.”
