Say hello to Lilian, a 21-year-old mother from Kenya, who is expecting her second child. She is married to a primary school teacher, a career she hopes to pursue herself.
Lilian completed secondary school and qualified to attend college, but did not continue her education because her family could not afford the fees. Lilian married her husband, who also shared the dream of being a teacher, and decided to take her back to college so she could become a teacher. Lilian is currently in her second year and expects to go back and graduate after she delivers her baby.
Lilian is having a difficult pregnancy, experiencing lower abdominal and back pain, which interrupts her ability to care of her family. She needs access to medical care to ensure a safe delivery, but she cannot afford the cost.
We can fund a safe delivery for $290. In addition to the delivery, Lilian will also be offered pre and postnatal care.
Let’s support Lilian and her family as they welcome a new baby!
