Miller is a two-year-old boy from the Philippines. He lives with his parents in a small house on his aunt’s property. His father is a pastor in a small church. Because of financial difficulty, Miller and his family do not always have enough to eat.
Miller has been diagnosed with acute malnutrition. He has thin arms and legs, and his mother is concerned for his health.
Our medical partner, International Care Ministries, is requesting $184 to cover the cost of an in-home feeding program to treat Miller’s malnutrition. This will pay for nutrient-enriched food packs, weekly visits from medical staff, and health education for family members. Miller is scheduled to begin treatment on February 23.

Millier received malnutrition care.
Miller’s weight has improved, from 9.5 kilograms upon enrollment to 11.3 kilograms upon discharge. He has an improved appetite and always looks forward to meal time. He can now walk without assistance and enjoys playing with his friends.
His guardian says, “I am very glad that my child has reached a normal weight status and is not malnourished anymore. I hope he would be able to finish his studies someday and be able to find a good work.”
