Allen is a three-year-old boy from Uganda. He likes to play soccer, make things out of mud and sticks, and play with the other children in his village. His parents say he is also a hard worker, already helping with chores around the house.
Recently, Allen was diagnosed with malaria. The local health center did not have adequate treatment available. Therefore, his family traveled 70 kilometers to bring him to our medical partner’s care center, Bwindi Community Hospital. He will begin malaria treatment on January 14.
Little Allen is the only child of his parents, Allen and Rachel. They have contributed $2, but they cannot afford the cost of treatment and hospitalization. Our medical partner, The Kellermann Foundation, requests $120 to fund this treatment. Allen’s parents share their gratitude to donors for their help.
