Songha is a five-year-old boy from Cambodia. He is his parents’ only-child. In his free time, Songha likes to play games, watch TV, and play football.
Two days ago, an insect entered Songha’s right ear. This has been causing Songha to experience pain and tinnitus, or the perception of noise or ringing in his ear.
Our medical partner, Children’s Surgical Centre, is requesting $220 to fund the removal of the foreign body from Songha’s ear. The procedure is scheduled to take place on July 6 and, once completed, will hopefully relieve Songha of his pain and allow him to live comfortably again.

Songha underwent ear surgery.
Songha’s treatment for his right ear went well. Following the procedure, he was given pain medication to take as needed and antibiotics to take for one week. Songha feels more comfortable than before.
