The Same Qualities Foundation (SQF) is a nonprofit humanitarian organization dedicated to improving the lives of vulnerable children and adults with treatable surgical conditions in Tanzania. Since its founding in 2014, SQF has worked with 15 partner hospitals across 14 regions to expand access to free, high-quality surgical care for people who might otherwise face financial or geographic barriers. Guided by compassion, medical excellence, equity, and community empowerment, SQF aims to help individuals thrive and ensure that everyone receives care with dignity and respect.

Alongside its surgical programs, SQF supports people facing emergency and critical medical conditions by training healthcare workers, offering emergency medicine courses and conferences, and providing high-level emergency medical services. The foundation also promotes health education, strengthens partnerships with hospitals and medical professionals, and works to extend responsive, inclusive care to underserved communities throughout Tanzania.
