Naine is a 55-year-old man from Nepal. About three months ago, he began to experience pain on the left side of his abdomen. He had difficulty walking or lifting heavy weight. He traveled for three hours to seek treatment at our medical partner's hospital, Bayalpata Hospital. On November 18, Naine underwent hernia repair surgery. Doctors removed the bulging tissue in his abdomen to relieve the pressure that was causing him pain. Naine lives with his wife and five children. He works in India to support his family, while his wife tends to their cattle and farm. They need help to fund this $451 procedure. Naine says he is "grateful" to be receiving care.
