Ratha Sreyna is a playful two-year-old from Cambodia. Her mother works in a factory and when she is at work, Ratha Sreyna goes to her grandparents' house. Ratha Sreyna enjoys watching cartoons and playing with toys. Her mother noticed that Ratha Sreyna was having trouble eating and drinking for the past three months and at night Ratha Sreyna is snoring in her sleep. Ratha Sreyna has had a recurrent sore throat and fevers, so her mom traveled four hours to bring her to Watsi's Medical Partner CSC for a consultation. ENT surgeons diagnosed her with tonsillitis and will perform a tonsillectomy, which will help her breath, eat, and sleep again. Ratha Sreyna's mother said, "I hope she will be better after the operation so she can sleep easily and eat and drink well. She is starting to look thinner and I worry so much."

Sophaiyath is a 9-year-old girl who lives with her family in Kratie Province. She has one brother who is only one-year-old. She wants to be a doctor when she grows up, so she studies very hard at school. She loves to eat mangoes, play jump rope, and take care of her little brother. One year ago, Sophaiyath's father began to see that she was walking abnormally. They brought her to a local hospital and found that she had developed Legg-Calve-Perthes (LCP) disease. This disease is a rare childhood disease in which blood flow to part of the hip socket is cutoff, and the bone begins to die. Now Sophaiyath experiences pain and stiffness, and cannot walk normally. She has missed school due to the condition, and her parents are worried that she will have permanent mobility issues. Luckily, the doctors at CSC can perform an osteotomy to repair Sophaiyath's hip. Once she recovers, she will no longer experience pain and will regain her mobility. She will also have increased confidence in her physical abilities. Sophaiyath's mother shared, "I want to see my daughter run and enjoy playing with the other children, so I hope this surgery is successful and finally fixes her hip."

Rany is a five-year-old preschool student from Cambodia. She lives with her parents and her younger sister. Her father is a farmer and her mother works in a factory. Rany enjoys watching cartoons on her father's phone and playing with toys with her sister. One week ago, she developed a painful and bad smelling mass in her ear. Rany has been experiencing pain, discomfort, and difficulty hearing. Rany traveled to our medical partner's care center to receive treatment. On October 13th, surgeons at our medical partner, Children's Surgical Centre, will remove the mass. Now, Rany needs help to raise $231 to fund this procedure. Rany's mom shared, "I hope my daughter's surgery is effective and the mass is removed so that she can be free of pain and regain her hearing."
