Heang is a 21-year-old air condition repairman from Cambodia. He is the youngest of four siblings, and enjoys listening to music in his free time.
Heang has strabismus in his right eye. Strabismus is a misalignment of the eye caused by injury or dysfunction in the associated nerves and muscles. It is difficult for Heang to see straight and he often cannot see clearly.
Heang traveled to our medical partner's care center to receive treatment. On July 9, surgeons at our medical partner, Children's Surgical Centre (CSC), will perform a corrective procedure to align his eyes. Now, Heang needs help to raise $292 to fund this procedure.
He says, "I hope that my surgery will be successful so I can see clearly and return to my work."
