Bartolina is a 38-year-old Mayan woman living in Guatemala. She went to the doctor because of severe pain and swelling in her chest and arm, and it turns out she has a large cyst inside her breast. Bartolina is unable to work because of the pain the cyst is causing, and needs medical attention immediately. She cannot afford follow-up care to remove the cyst and determine whether or not it's cancerous. We need to raise $1050 to remove Bartolina's cyst and relieve her pain. The cost of Bartolina's treatment includes transportation to and from the health facility, all necessary medications, and follow-up radiology and pathology tests.
