Pov is a second grade student from Cambodia. He has four brothers and one sister. He likes to read and play with friends. He enjoys drinking soy milk. Ten years ago, he received a series of poorly administered injections, causing a flexion contracture of his left knee. He is unable to bend his knee and walk easily. When Pov learned about our medical partner, Children's Surgical Centre, he traveled for four hours seeking treatment. On September 6, surgeons at CSC will perform a quadricepsplasty procedure of his left leg to help him walk easily. Now, Pov needs help to fund this $413 procedure. His mother says, "I hope after the operation, my son can walk normally and won't have any more difficulty."
