“Quinter is a hard working lady and she tells us that she hope to beat all her classmates in their upcoming exams,” says our medical partner, Lwala Community Alliance. Quinter is a 16-year-old living in Kenya with her parents who has recently learned she is pregnant with her first child.
“Quinter feels lower abdominal pain most of the time and sometimes has to leave school for home early as she cannot continue being attentive in class,” explain her doctors. She’s still in primary school and hoping to finish her primary school certificate in a few weeks, but first she needs prenatal care and a safe delivery to help her meet her goals.
With $290 from Watsi donors, Quinter will be able to receive the care she needs and deliver her baby in a health facility, allowing her to return to school and continue her education. Quinter says she “hopes to give her son or daughter the best education… and also give the best care to her child.”
Let’s help this young mother-to-be so she can continue her own education and support her newborn!
