“This has been a very scary time for both me and Christina, but we have faith in God and we believe everything will be ok for her,” says Christina’s mother. Two years ago, she underwent a “shunt” operation to allow blood to flow more normally until her arteries could grow to a size that would allow for a permanent fix.
